Why go? Why does Career Day matter?

The Career Center at College of the Ozarks works hard throughout the semester preparing for Career Day. After spending months planning all of the event's aspects, they bring an average of about 80 employers to the campus.

"So what," you may be asking. "Why do I have to go?" Well, your future depends on right now. Networking is crucial for college students. Did you know that 80-90% of jobs are filled through networking -- those jobs aren't posted online. Many of College of the Ozarks will have a job lined up for them when they graduate. The first time they will ever meet their employer is at Career Day.

You make the call whether or not to attend. You will be very thankful down the line that you took the time to network with the employers. You never know, that person could be your new boss.
